This may have been addressed already, but who experienced bloating on testosterone and when? I'm ten months on T and happened to be looking back through pictures of myself, when I noticed that in the third month, my face got ridiculously bloated or swollen or whatever it was. How I could breathe is a mystery for the ages. At some point it squared off and got less greasy though.

Happened to me.  I looked like a puffy-faced chubbo for a while.

That happened to me around my 3 month mark too. It worried me at the time because it made my face appear more feminine, so I thought I was going backwards. :P

Happened to me too, but a little later. It started around month five and lasted for two-three months. Here's some pictures. The first one is around the five month mark, and the second one a long while later.

I look so gross in the first picture (second one too, but that's got nothing to do with the puffyface stage xD))

This thread makes me feel so much better lol I've noticed my face being ether puffy lately and I've developed this weird double chin that I hope also goes away as I'm rather skinny but if I even tilt my head down the second chin appears. Been really self conscious about it lately but I'm hoping it's all just a stage that will fade away

I know I am mtf but I did a lot of steroids in my past life. The bloating is just water retention and isn't anything to worry about. Cut back on your sodium intake and alot of it should go away. But Test causes water retention no matter who takes it.

If it is bothering you that bad you could take diuretics. Pottassium increase helps.

Still it's nothing to worry about.

If you take enathate or sustanon you may want to ask about cypinate. A lot of guys on cycle prefer it because of less water retention closer to contest season.

Yeah, the bloating is simply water retention and it depletes with time. Mine hit around my three month mark as well, and I'm still kind of dealing with it now, but I don't look nearly as puffy. Still, I'm awaiting my angular jaw and cheekbones. >__>

I might be just coming off of this too--I haven't been taking pictures or anything so I can't say for sure. My face did seem kind of feminine for awhile, but I'm used to it because I naturally just have a kind of puffy face (poor genetics got me again) and I'm still a bit overweight. But recently I've been surprised that my face looks a little more masculine than I'm used to. Not all the time, but sometimes I'll glance in the mirror and I'm like "wait." It'd be nice if T ultimately took some of that natural puffiness of mine away. Fingers crossed.

Ah this thread is so helpful. My face is super puffy these last couple of weeks. Yet the bod is getting leaner, and i'm building a bit of muscle, so *only* seeing extra fat/puff on my face is a bit discouraging.  I've been tempted to look into plastic surgery to address the double chin; money i don't really have.

That face is what i use for flirting so it's kind of important! Glad to know that patience may be helpful...

I found this website through searching for info about my puffy face/bloating on T. I'm 3 months in. Reassuring to read that its not jusy me!!

I've always had a pretty round face before T. I've been on it for 2 years and my face is still bloated looking. So i'm pretty sure it's normal and will go away in a few years.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I dunno.

I didn't particularly notice when my face bloated up, I gained weight around that time too, but I've definitely noticed it thinning back out in the past month which is great.

Oh my god yes. Puffy face, to the point of having double chins. I've been slender all my life so this was a shock. I actually called my doctor about it and was told water retention, as some folks have said above.

I'm tidying up my diet a bit and cooling it with the salt and watched five pounds (holy cats) of water weight fall off in a week.

You're not alone, man. But it sucks.

I am one month on T and notice water retention throughout the day. I was up 8 pounds as of yesterday's doctor's appointment. I've been wanting to eat everything in my path so that doesn't help but the water retention definitely  fluctuated with diet and exercise to the point where pants could fit fine one day and be tight the next. You'll know the water is coming off when you're peeing a ton. I'm talking about going to the bathroom and then having to go half an hour later. Drink a lot of water and watch the sodium and simple carbs. Get some good cardio in.

I'd say I noticed puffiness in my face around 9 months ish on T. I've always had a round face though and am slightly chubby although not overweight. Just in the past 2 weeks or so I've been looking in the mirror and been a bit suprised that my face looks less round. Even though just a month ago it looked rounder.
