Came out to friend, and a bit dumbfounded

After being rejected consistently by older friends and family about being trans, I came out to one of my newer female friends as trans. The thing is, what I received in turn was an extremely flat, I don't care, I'll treat you just the same as before. Not to say I'm not happy about this. I was just a bit taken back that she'd treat me just the same as a friend, I was expecting a more, hateful reaction. Perhaps I've become too negative after so many negative responses.

One person can make a world of difference. I am sure you will find more people as well. Good luck girl!
Live a life with no regrets and be the person you know you were meant to be.

I am a weird girl, I like video games and skirts, swords and nail polish, sharks and black lace...not sure if that's normal, definitely sure that I don't care. =P

That's great. Sometimes it's the ones we expect to support us who don't and the ones who we expect not to that do.
