I just typed my old name in a pm to VM, I really felt so strange! I can't even recall him anymore

Was it a mistake? I'm still getting accustomed to my name, and a few days ago wrote my old one.. I got the biggest rush of chills, not good ones! lol!

Every once in awhile I will be signing a receipt or some document and I will start sign my old name. I correct it before I get it completely wrote out, but it's always weird when it happens because it's like why in the heck am I trying to sign with that name. It's not me anymore. It seems like ages since I shed that old part, but it's still only been months.

I am getting pretty good with mine with all the accounts I have been changing the last 48 hours. You never know how much stuff your name is on until you change it. OMG! Every time I think I am done I find two more accounts. Funny thing is you can read my signature on things now! :)

Well, it was your name your entire life until you changed your name, you know? I wouldn't be surprised if I always had somewhat of a connection to it, even way into my transition when it's never used.

I managed to do the opposite the other day and put my name as Andrew on the bottom of an email at work. Fortunately one of the few people I'm out to saw it. I looked right though! I just don't feel connected to my birth name in any way.
