GCS July 7th with Dr. Rumer

Until now it did not feel real but I just finished paying for the surgery. Now it finally feels real and I know it us going to happen. It is also a huge relief knowing it is finally paid for and there are no longer any more hoops to jump through. I still cannot believe my date is less than a month away. I will finally look on the outside how I have felt on the inside my whole life. I just wanted to take a minute and thank everyone on this forum because without each and every one of you I know I would not be where I am today.

Awwwww hunnn. Congrats. I certainly know what you mean. My surgery is on the 26 of this month and it just seems so surreal. I'm just really ready for it to all be over so I can just smile, and look back and say that I made it that... To the other side. oh what a feeling it's going to be

Will you have someone up there in the recovery facility with you after surgery?

Yea my wife will be staying with me. Also thank you for all your help full posts I have read them all. You were one of the reasons I considered Dr. Rumer for my number 1 surgeon spot. I have found all of your posts very helpful.

I am down to 1 week left. My wife and I will be in Philly over the 4th then I go in on Monday to start pre op

1 week!? OMG!! I was just thinking about being 1 week away from mine....SRS - 1 week = 4 November for me.

Dr Rumer has said everything looks good. I haven't been able to see the results yet but my time is coming. The worst part is the 3 days immobile because everything sweats and itches
