Love hearing first day stories, still remember the excitement I had (along with a bit of nervousness). Now just remember this following advice going forward: "Take your hormones and forget about them". Since they take awhile to kick in (physically not mentally), just enjoy the calming effect and go about other aspects of your transition/life. When the changes come, you'll enjoy them that much more.

Nikki, congrats!

However the doses in your post will probably be edited out.

Anyway I visited the nurse practitioner today and she was super awesome as usual. We just went over labs and blood pressure (I've improved a lot) and she refilled some of my meds. I'm happy although the way I was dressed and the fact that I have stubble got me misgendered today. No biggie. I wasn't trying too hard.

Good for you. I remember long ago when a new doc asked me if I crossdressed (I was wearing ugly male garb) & I said I'm crossdressed right now wearing this boring male type stuff just to fit in. He wrote my scrip for boo coo estrogen..... within 5 minutes.
mtF, mid 50's, always a girl since childhood, HRT (Spiro, E & Fin.) since 8-13. Hormone levels are t at 12 & estrogen at 186. Face lift & eye lid surgery in 2014. Abdominoplasty/tummy tuck & some facial surgery May, 2015. Life is good for me. Love long nails & handsome men! Hopeful for my GRS & a nice normal depth vagina maybe by late summer. 5' 8", 180 pounds, 14 dress size, size 9.5 shoes. I'm kind of an elegant woman & like everything pink, nice & neet. Love my nails & classic Revlon Red. Moving back to Florida, so excited but so much work moving

Congrats I still remember 28 past 2pm, 28 July, sitting in my car in the pharmacist car park, looking at the little pill and thinking - my life is about to start.

It did ^-^

I remembered the first time... however it was self med and i was terrified. I took it, immediately spat it out thinking, "what am I doing???), then took it again.

The first time under dr supervision gave me a huge smile. It was official, it was guaranteed and it was properly done. Never looking back!
