To start my day today I was fortunate enough to receive some prizes at a local retailer.

After making a purchase for some lip gloss, mascara and valentines card for my wife, I was told I would get a $25 gift gas card. Cool I thought, but was also told to spin the prize wheel for a Valentines promotion.

I spun the wheel hoping for a chance to win what I figured would be something equal to the gas card value. The wheel stopped on gift basket. When I asked what the gift basket was, I was told I cold pick from 1 of the 4 following baskets.

Elizabeth Arden, Clinique, Clarins, Lancome all valued at what I was told to be over $300 dollars, and full of all types of cosmetics and facial products. I chose the Lancome basket as it appeared to have the best selection, and was also told by the esthetician it would be her choice.

It included 2 nail polish, 3 mascaras, 2 lip glosses, perfume, eye shadow pallet, 2 eye liner, 2 eye makeup remover and about 10 or so of their top end facial cleansers, toners, creams etc. I will have to research what some of them are to be honest, but I doubt they are cheap.

This was the best way to start my day as not only did I then have my wife's gift I had paid for, but now had this awesome basket to "give" (hopefully share) her. Almost everything came in 2's for a reason I told her. YAY! I couldn't wait for V-day and gave her the basket before she even made it out of the bed. It was too exciting. :)

If only I had gone and tried my luck with a lotto ticket purchase after. ;)

Fabulous prizes, yay!  ;D  Was there any Trésor in there? I love that scent.

No Tresor. La Vie est Belle. $100 dollars alone in the store. It's a lovely scent.
