At what point do you just not come out and just be your affirmed gender?

Eveline

I came out to close family just before I got FFS, even though I still didn't feel good about my presentation, because there was just no way to hide the changes.

But I held back on coming out at work until I could get my court-ordered name change, which took months.  ::)

I work remotely, so I could get away with that because no one needed to see me. However, it was really disturbing to have to use my male voice when talking to my co-workers (phone, hangouts, etc.).

Right after I came out at work, I remember being pretty much calm and collected. Then, when I realized "I never have to use that voice again", I got really emotional.

So liberating!
