Well this is kind of two questions but they both deal with T so whatever...

My question is has anyone experienced male pattern baldness while going on T? It seems to be mostly connected with genetics whether or not this occurs (my grandparents and father have kept a full head of hair). However I do know on the male side of my family that some hair around the temples/forehead thins. Is it likely that this will occur to me when I go on T (though my hair is thicker than anyone else in my family)? And will this happen faster to me than the other people in my family?

My second question is that I have seen a fair amount of people experienced weight gain on T. I'm guessing that it might be because of the change of hormones or muscle gain (I know I put on some healthy weight after I went through my first puberty but I'm still thin).

The hair genes come from the maternal side - so look toward the men in her family for an idea of hair trends.

I gained 10 pounds when I first started T, and have now lost it and am continue to lose weight because I am working out (cardio and strength training).  I am gaining muscle mass in addition to losing fat, so the actual number on the scale is not always the best indicator.  The hormones change the metabolism and build strength.  It's up to you how you make it work for you - do nothing and slowly gain fat (generally around the midsection), or workout and build the muscles your non-T-soaked body couldn't really build!
