Why the difference in peeing?

At home, I sit. That started when I was a stay at home dad and responsible for all the house cleaning. I cant stand cleaning a bathroom to begin with, and I very quickly realized all that yellow crap & the curly hairs on the toilet & floor were because of me standing to pee. Don't want clean it? Don't make the mess :)

In public, Im not about to sit on that nasty damn toilet seat if I don't have to. I always use the urinal if its there.

I do know that men often seem to have a need to express their macho male-ness by peeing as loudly as possible into the deepest part of the toilet while standing as far back as possible. Some kind of competitive 'got a thick loud stream, therefore a horse-sized penis' kinda thing. And others seem to do the same peeing against the ceramic of a urinal. Frankly, I always snickered a bit when they'd walk to the sink to rinse their hands with splash-back sprinkles all over the front of their tan or gray slacks. Or the standers who sprinkle-splashed on their lower pantlegs. And made me wonder how they deal in summer with shorts & bare legs LOL. or maybe eew?

I don't think Arab men stand (unless there's no toilet around obviously), so at least part of it is cultural.
I'm trying to be somebody, I'm not trying to be somebody else.

This whole thing made me realize that some cis women actually stand to pee possibly because they don't want to get germs from the toilet seats because whenever I went to public bathrooms at the malls or stations ALMOST ALL of the toilet seats had splashes of urine on them.

Speaking of dirty; throughout my years in high school I continuously saw their disgusting unflushed bloody mess in the toilet bowls.
I am male because I say so and nothing more.
I don't have to look or act like one therefore.

If you don't ever plan srs, then think about a transcrotal piercing.   I have one with a corset and basically have my penis tucked between my legs all the time.  Then the corset piercings hides it.  Sitting to pee is no problem then when the head sits where a woman's urine comes out;)  I've had this for a few years and it releases srs plus get to keep penis for wife!
I am confused. A piercing and tucking, how does that work for peeing?

I've always just sat. more  comfortable and you can read. lol if I am somewhere disgusting where sitting is not an option I stand. I've been told that some ladies do the hover method so as not to touch the seat. half sit half stand

A transcrotal piercing is a hole all the way through the scrotum.  I can fit my thumb in it.  Then the corset piercings pull the sac together to hide the scrotum making it somewhat close to a female slit.  Took a couple years of design, but it gives me the best of both worlds.  Plus my penis head works as a large clit and makes orgasms so easy.  Where I used to have an orgasm once a day or so as a male, thinking as a female and my mod, I can have multiple orgasms that last a very long time.  Plus the I can switch and please my wife too;)

I will of course never be able to find it out for myself personally but is it actually difficult to pee sitting if the person has a bio penis?  Is it convenient to position it to the toilet bowl while sitting down?  It makes me teary eyed just asking this question...

I'm biologically male and I sit down to pee. In fact, I pee EXACTLY like a girl.
Despite what others say, I AM A GIRL.

I used to sit and pee when I was a kid. Then my dad had a problem with it. He claimed that I was messing up the toilet. (yeah, right.)

I used urinals a lot but recently I have stopped using them when I use the men's which is pretty much only at work now.

I sit down now. I really can't stand up and pee properly now. It's kind of hard with the clothes I wear plus doing it in the women's room is going to out me.

It depends on how big. Some bio males are well endowed and have issues. Some (like me) have small ones where it is no problem at all.

(good God I never thought I'd be proud of having a small penis).

Why does there have to be a difference? We all have to do it. Why must we be segregated?

The other day when I went in the men's room in a large chain store there was only one stall
and some guy was camped out in it. How I wished I could use the women's room where
where there was at least three stalls.

I am a retired kidney doctor. And, despite all of the jokes and give and take, there is a physiological reason for the way that men and women typically urinate. The kidneys and ureters, which connect to the bladder are the same in both. The bladder is of the same size, although the wall tends to be thinner in females; but, the big difference comes from it's location and the length and position of the urethra. The bladder rests on the pelvic floor for everyone, but, in women it is situated behind the uterus and most of the urethra is actually embedded in the top of the vagina. The female urethra is only in one section, which is very short. In males, the urethra is in 3 sections and is much longer at about 8 inches. It travels through the prostrate and the entire length of the penis. Women can pee standing up, but the urethral opening is small and hidden, usually in the labial folds, and it takes some practice to "guide" the stream. Some women use paper cones and can avoid sitting on public toilet seats with some positioning of the labia. But, the big thing, is that the seated position gives the best anatomic angle and, with the help of gravity and muscle contraction the most favorable way for women to pee. Men, because of the length of the ureter and the directed urine stream from the penis need more help from gravity and pelvic muscles. As well, men tend to get thickened prostates with age or infections, and it becomes even more important to stand to get all the help one can get to "get it out". Personally, I love to sit.....and, that makes me feel more like the woman I am!!!!! Hope this is not TMI (too much info), as my teenage daughter sometimes reminds me. Blessings, Sheila

Thank you Sheila, I actually think this is just the right amount of information as well as perfectly explained because now I do understand it  better.

I find it easier to completely empty my bladder if I sit and I have done so for over 17 years.

Mac- As I said, I share your preference to sit. In my experience, men generally feel more comfortable standing and peeing. Also, having had some BPH over the years, I can say that sitting to urinate is a lot harder with that problem; for the reasons that I listed. Sheila
