Hello

Just saw this documentary and I think it was cool and I want to recomend it for people to watch.
(you can watch it here) http://contrastvisionproductions.com/films/travel-queeries/

The movie is about the European queer movement taking place between 2005-2007 in various diffrent European countries. notice that the Queer as in European term inspired of queer teory and going agenst the norm rather than being simple "gay" the Queer is not the same as the glbt+ movement.

Now I want to say abit extra on why I link this movie beside that I thought it was interesting, you can skip this part and just watch the movie if you arn't interesteed, its up to you:
-----
As an European I feel it can be stressfull once in a while how I am able to find alot of Amarican articals, movies, news, books and so on, but unable to find anything from where I live which I can show others. it can somethimes feel abit like a unfair share of "I can find, read and see your stuff but you cant see mine" because alot of things are amaricanalized and easy for most people to find and enjoy all around the world, its not the same the other way around.

Often I end up putting alot of work into translating some pieces to give others a options to get to see things from where I come from or just get the chance to enjoy something I find great. othertimes this are not an option or I may not feel I have the energy to do so and then misunderstandings, or the lack of knowlegde apear. I dont blame people for this cause its a general fact there is a lack of information and I feel to understand each other its important we can see each others reality. its not a
amarica vs Europa thing, and its not that we simple need more stuff for Europa but the fact that we need more stuff around the group in general.
not just European but theres a huge need of non-western media focusing on
Africa, Middle-east, small countrys around in general who gives a natural and realistic view on those places.
When we dont have this our reality becomes very black and white.

I have a inner wish to one day make a list of media, movies, documentaries, books and so on, from around the globe of as many countries as posible but right now I dont have the time or energy.
If you got some cool recomendations I would be open for them. Maybe I writte a list on susan one day in the future.
