Much of the U.S. is abnormally cold tonight with high winds too.  Where I am, the forecast is for -25 degree (-32 degree C) wind chills.  Tomorrow sounds as bad or worse.  I hope that everyone has a safe warm place to be tonight.

But I am mindful too that homelessness affects trans* people more than most.  So please, please, please if you know someone out there who has nowhere to go, take them in.

If you are a homeless trans* person, check out the Transgender Housing Network at http://www.transhousingnetwork.com/.

If you are in metro Washington, DC or Baltimore, then as a last resort, PM me.  I've been able to find emergency housing for people before.  But the odds are good that I won't see your PM right away, so please exhaust all possibilities and don't just count on me.

Perhaps others who are willing to help one another these nights could post here too and let folks know where they are?  By doing little things together, we can help one another a lot.
