soft dilator vs soulsource dilators

I am now 4 months post op and my surgeon wants me to change and use soft dilator moving forward. I have been using #3 and #4 of soulsource dilators since after my surgery. Do we really have to change from hard dilators to soft dilators eventually? I just thought using hard once is better to use for lifetime.

But yes, I've ever heard (until now) of using hard dilators, and Brassard is clear that a soft dilator will NOT work - it's fine eventually to use in addition to the regular set, but not instead of. It sounds like your surgeon has a different technique and therefore different regimen.

No, my doctor's technique is similar to what Sanguan Kunaporn is doing in Thailand. Its peno-scrotal SRS method wherein they used most of its skin to create a flap with skin grafting. My doctor is a bit noob for post operative care like I bought soulsource dilators instead of using the one he is providing due to its only one and size is like #4 of soulsource (yikes).

Im concern that if he lets me switch to soft dilators I might lose depth and width.

well,  follow the dr's  advise. i  never  heard  of  the  soft  kind.  they  seem  more  like sex  toys,  battery  operated  boy  friends.     at  some  point,  if  you  are  sexualy  active,  most  retire  the  damn dialiator  things.    a few  years  in,  with  regular sexual  activity,  they  are  typicaly  not  needed  anymore.  discuss  that  with  your  dr,  as  dr.  always  knows  best.
