You know you have let your paperwork at work fall WAY behind. When you have to start signing things in your old name again

I have a strong desire to buy a military-style beret and have a custom patch made to be worn on it that reflects the thing that I have gone through/will have to endure as a trans person.

Narcolepsy might sound like fun, but it's not. I have a far more active life in the dreamscape than I do in real life which is starting to feel like whenever I'm awake I'm visiting a foreign country until I fall asleep again.

I had some research projects on narcolepsy, and no it isn't fun at all.

Sorry you suffer from it. Stay strong, I sort of know what you go through.

Thanks Cindy :)  Most of the time it doesn't get me down, but the Winter weather here has been really cold and wet which isn't helping.

The team I was in found the autoantibody that causes it, at least in many sufferers. The idiotype is now in production. One day we will have a treatment. It is a horrible disease.

I've been off HRT for...  well.. I've lost track. I need to take time off to see my Endo so I can get my prescription renewed. Frankly, I look like crap. I just don't look after myself much anymore. I just eat, sleep and drive. I should be more proactive. But going home to take care of this physical is more hassle than anything. Why? Because i am just a paycheck to my family. Because I can never even get home to relax. I always come home to some stupid drama or I have to fix something that got broke.

I like my trucker life. I don't make any new friends and only have to deal with strangers I will never see again.

There must be someone out there that knows how to lay down a groove while I play my happy ass tunes, well some of them maybe not so happy but they all gotta groove in some way anyway

Winning an argument with a smart person is much easier than winning one with an idiot.
  •

LordKAT

That is probably because it ends up being more debate than argument.

If I got a higher score on an IQ test than Einstein and Hawking ever did, then it's probably just a bogus test.

Either that or I should have just got the damned PhD in physics like my dad and sister did.

A mind is a terrible thing.

In light of the Charleston shooting, and the type of "treatment" that kid has gotten from the police and judge (before he was taken off the case) it makes me ashamed to be a South Carolinian.

Then again, that shame happened long before then, when the governor decided to take that little trip to Argentina to meet his mistress.....and then shortly after that one politician who shouted "you lie!" to Obama during a conference.

As far as these major stores banning Confederate paraphernalia, I say let them continue selling that stuff.  If a person wants to drape their body and identity in that, then I'd like to know who they are, so I can stay away from them, if need be.  Of course not every person who enjoys Confederate paraphernalia is a horrible person, but I say keep selling that stuff in the store.  As far as the Confederate flag is concerned, for the most part, I could care less if it is taken down or not.  It's not going to stop racism, especially subtle racism.

Chop those bpm's in half and you have a winner.
