I played it early on and enjoyed the away missions, but the space simulation seemed too small and crowded. I might consider trying it again given how many of my friends have been begging me to.
April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!
Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

I played it and while the space battles are realistic, the away missions are badly done and graphically no where near as nice as the space battles.

I'm reviving this thread because there doesn't need to be another one floating around out in space....
In the last two years, STO v4 has really turned around in format and graphics compared to STO v1
I just started playing STO since December 2015. In just three months, I already logged more than 1200 hours playing. Having been a big fan of Prime Trek since the days when TNG was still NEW on the TV, I must say that I got addicted to the game.
but not being able to play broke that and got me cut from the fleet I was with after the 11.5 changes happened.
I have also heard rumors that one of the Developers,
, is also trans, which only increases my interest to keep playing STO, despite the lack of non-gender binary species.
So I'm looking to connect with others on here that are also on there, would love to do a team up for this month's Risa event! PM me for contact info!
btw, here's some of my screenshots... too bad I can't decide which ones to enter in the monthly contest for free zen.

That game looks so good, and I am a Trek fan. I should try it.

I tried it on the Xbox one, and as disappointed. I wanted to lock my ship in the forwards view, but it won't allow it, even though there is a key to do it. It is frustrating, the guns fire automatically, I just input for special shots, but they only go in the direction the ship is facing. I chose a Klingon warbird, and it's weapons only fire front.

the game box versions are still a bit half-baked even for having 7 years worth of development...
I use the PC version, and can help you privately if you were on that version, but I don't have a game console. If its anything like the pc version you'll have to go into the options and assign it to chase view instead of the default config. that's part of how i got up to 50k in my first year.
