My friends and I love to cosplay and for my b-day we're doing Ciel in wonderland! (Black Butler). But the thing is I'm going to be Ciel (Alice) and he wears a very pretty dress, which I'm excited
about. But how can I not show off/hide the, well the top part of dresses? I'm kinda small 'up there' but any ideas that would still fit the scene? Maybe a jacket or something warm because it's
outside?

Any help with dresses in general would help!

I'm a little bit unsure about what you're asking, but it sounds like a jacket would be a good option! If you're making your cosplay yourself, you could maybe design a jacket that will go with the dress as if it were canon, and if you aren't making it, but buying it, perhaps you can shop around to find the right jacket that'll fit the style of the dress.

I'm not sure what dress you're talking about, because I'm pretty sure Ciel wears shorts and stockings the whole time...? Or does he wear the pink dress in it too...? It's been a while since I've seen those episodes, so I don't really remember well.

Anyway, I guess it doesn't really matter. If your chest is being accentuated by the outfit, a jacket would definitely help by adding extra layers. A bolero jacket would probably provide the best match to the style, and keeping with the puff/short sleeves would also help. Otherwise, if you want a longer jacket and/or sleeves you could look up lolita fashion (ouji/prince/boystyle is your best bet if it's his normal Wonderland outfit) for ideas on designs.

I hope that helps a little bit. I don't know how much time you have, but good luck! Cosplay is hard work.

I have the same cosplay outfit. I lived in Alaska at the time and I rigged up a Victorian style jacket, white dyed pink, for when I was outside. I don't have it with me but it worked well. It was before I came out though, so I wasn't using it to hide my chest, just as an accent. You could also try a shawl, which depending on if you are buying the outfit or making it yourself it might go well with it.

CursedFireDean: there is an issue where he dresses in a pink ball gown. I can't remember the context though, I haven't read manga in years.
