I'm 16 and trans but after a long conversation with my mum on Wednesday morning I've realised I should just be androgynous because it's much more convenient in many respects. I like wearing my girls uniform to school but I've decided long hair just doesn't suit me. I got it cut off at justcuts in a pixie cut style with a fringe and my mum dyed it blue-black. I now wear emo eyeliner aswell. I went to school today and everyone loved my new look. some of my female friends even said I look more like a girl. I'm so happy. i'll post a picture soon :) <3

I'm glad that you feel comfortable with yourself. That is so important. It is also great that your mother is coping as well as she is. Take care.

Her mom is not coping if she forces her to deny her true self. Her mom is like: "Well, he's one more step away from being my lil' boy again."

BTW, under-agers aren't allowed post their ages. It's against the TOS or rules or some such.

I disagree that the mom is steering them (preferred pronoun ??) towards being a boy again.  Sounds to me like she's giving guidance on how to get to the desired outcome. Transition is a process.

For future reference, that policy was reversed a short while back and is no longer in effect.

I'm not sure about the "Convenient" part. For me, transitioning into a full female is what motivates me every single day
