Hi All!

Alright, I apologize in advance, as I know I'm totally awkward talking about this sort of thing, but I need to ask...

I'm about 4 months into HRT, and recently I've noticed that the area down the backside/underside of my... well.. penis... has started to darken in colour quite a bit.

I think I had seen a post about this previously, about it being a normal side effect, and I'll check in with my endo on our next visit in a couple of months, but if there's anyone out there who could give me a "yes, me too. That's perfectly normal.", I'd really appreciate it, so I could stop worrying a bit.

Thanks,
Giselle Marie

What happens yet with you is nothing Giselle it also can get much worse I talk for self experience  :(  do you know "Alba line" I didn't know it till it showed up in my abdomen it's a dark line that starts  on hair from pubis  and goes up  close to where the stomach is, and after breast augmentation  this dark line came up  to the middle of my breast  and my brain started to produce prolactin in high dosage  (Hormons  from mother's  milk ), and normally this "Alba line " shows up only in pregnant women,  so the Hormons are driving my body crazy.

I've noticed a darkish line develop from my belly button down to my pubic area, think its often referred to as the linea negra and is more common in people with more pigment in skin.

Perfectly normal. It's the Perineal Raphe and it darkens on E.

A big thank you to everyone for being so generous and sharing back with me! I'll sleep a bit easier now for sure!

I thought I had seen that in a previous post somewhere, but just couldn't seem to find it again, and, well, sometimes, I guess I can fixate a little bit on things... Maybe I'll just call it 'attention to detail'! :)

Thanks again,
Giselle
