On my way into work, I noticed in my rearview that my hair was looking particularly girly. So, in the spirit of feeling fabulous, I tucked one side behind my ear and wound up looking/feeling so feminine I giggled most of the way in.
Well...
Upon arriving at work, I got out of the car...without re-masculinizing (that's a word because I say it is!) my hair. Walked right past one of my coworkers, who apparently didn't recognise me...he called out "Ma'am!"...I instinctively whipped about to see who was talking to me (I'm getting bad about that too...), and he went, "Oh good lord, [detestable male name here]. What's up with the hair!?"
Oh crap...I forgot to straighten it back out...
I managed to fix it and fib my way out of it, claiming I had the window down and it was blowing into my eyes, and THANK THE GODS he bought it. But holy cow, that was close!
