I've been very fortunate to work for an organisation that has wanted to really support me right through this transition at work process - from yesterday's morning tea ( after tg training) to just coming back to my desk with - right name at the workstation, right name on the phone, right name and gender marker on the document records system (backdated to the year dot when I started), email sorted, managers sorting out stuff with our prime stakeholders ( the boys and girls in blue), being called by my name, using the facilities - no hassle, just chatting about stuff and your gender is........well, we've moved on already. Brilliant!

Feeling wanted, feeling respected and just being normal. Realy, really really, really really %#%%>%# good!

And then a lovely meal at our favourite French restaurant, and the sense that my partner is as positive as she's ever been about this.

Really happy!  :) :D :) :D
