im 16 and some, and have questions about blockers and such. my current plan is to take blockers (androcur, spiro, or etc) exclusively, until im in college. so, is this healthy? i've heard this can cause osteoporosis or other nasty side effects, tho. so is there anyway i can safely go about this?

That's something you should be discussing with your doctor.

FYI we are not able to talk about DIY due to TOS on the site.

DIY is VERY Dangerous.  You can die.  This is your body you are talking about.  Your hormones.  It can very quickly kill you.

On top of that you cannot deplete your body of hormones without replacing it with something else.

Also you are 16.  You will not legally be able to obtain hormones without parental consent if you are in the US.

Hi cheezestrings.

Welcome to Susan's. As they have said, question regarding or leading to self medication is not allowed. I am giving the links to site rules and some answers to often asked questions. Please read them.

You do need to talk with a dr even more on this one.  I've done a lot of research on this subject since I lost my natural testosterone.  In my 40's, it's important to have either testosterone or estrogen compounds in your body to maintain healthy bones for just a starter.
at such an early age, you are going to go through a growth cycle that most of us would love to relive now that our gender has been addressed.
Look, you only get one chance at this to make it perfect.  Get professional help, set goals in your life where you want to be with your transition,  then work at keeping them..  if you take the wrong stuff at the wrong time, it will interfere in your transition.  But going the path you want missing both t and e, you really need close monitoring.  That is an even harder road to take, but we see why you are doing it.
Please ask for help here, but don't try this one yourself..  research this before you go further at least..  we are here to help you;)

Hi  cheezstrings welcome to Susan's.

The only way to take hormones that could be considered safe is under a doctor's supervision, self medicating should not have the term safe anywhere close to it.

my mistake, im used to TOS being that thing you dont read before you set up an ipod  :-\

You usually should read them. You are bound by those terms soon as you use the ipod, just as you are bound by these terms if you want to use this  site.
