So I probably shouldn't be this scared, but it is my nature I tend towards the nervous and jittery. After a long time looking and trying to figure everything out on my own I have found a therapist. I am so scared and I still have 2 weeks till the appointment. I mean I picked an online options strictly because right now I don't think I can deal with someone looking at me. I will definitely freak out a few more times before than so thanks in advance for patience and support.

Renata, Believe it or not as much as you maybe scared by it now it's actually not that scary once you get started. It should hopefully be a huge relief to you. I found that after meeting both therapists that I have that any anxiety or scaredness I had went out the window. Just be yourself and things will be just fine because they are just there to help you through everything and not judge you. I hope eventually you can handle someone looking at you I think you will find being able to see a kind reassuring face each time will be helpful in time. Good Luck and Hugs

Hi Renata, I just recently started therapy, and was also nervous before the first session. But as Mariah said, once you get started it is a relief to have someone that will listen and understand what you are going through. So don't freak out, it will be just fine. Good luck.
