Hi
I want to ask, is here someone from Australia ?
Im considering to move to Australia exactly to Adelaide. Looking for more warm climate. Now I live in Prague.
What do you think about it ? Any experiences ?

I live in Adelaide. Lovely, wonderful, beautiful city. Very friendly, totally accepting. Nice climate as long as you can survive 45C during summer! (Not every day )

Better few hot days than three month of freeze (thanks not to snow here, just when I need to do something outside  :eusa_doh: )

45 degrees C is pretty hot though. A few days in a row of that and you'll be living in your fridge. :)

Lots of Aussies on this forum, woo!! :icon_drunk: ;)

I live in Sydney... Lovely place  >:-)

Been to Adelaide, many times, love it. I'm also a wine lover, South Australia is the primary wine state, delivering some of the finest wines in the world...

Anyway it is also known as the city of churches... Very easy place to get around, and as Cindy said very friendly.

Adelaide is a good place to live but not to visit. The population is small, the city is accessible, the roads are simple, and prices are reasonable. All of that makes for good everyday living but, apart from the occasional event, it is very quiet here, which works for me but it's a factor for some.

The climate should be what you are looking for. It does get hot but the regularity to which it gets very hot is overplayed. The more relevant point is that it never becomes very cold. Adelaide is not a place to find snow, a cold day here only gets as low as around 7 degrees C.
