So I am finally feeling ready for beginning to prepare for top surgery but I have been struggling to decide what surgery would be best for my body shape. I have a 32A chest (last I was measured which was a while ago) but with the placement of my moobs and nipples I am not 100% sure if peri is a good option for me or not. I was thinking of possibly consulting with a few surgeons this summer who have experience with both surgeries and asking them whether I would be able to get good results with peri or if DI would ultimately work better. I don't have the money right now to travel far so I would like to consult with surgeons who are either able to do phone consults with pictures or are in NC, SC, or VA. I may even be willing to drive to Maryland or Georgia if the surgeon won't do phone or online consults.

I'm in northern VA/DC and was looking in a similar geographic area. Ended up going with Dr. Fischer in Baltimore for loads of reasons. I believe she only does consults in the office, but you could call and check.

Another option I was considering was Dr. Zinsser in Richmond, VA. Ultimately decided I did not think his nipple work would look good on my chest, but I liked the rest of his work.

Thanks for your thoughts! I am definitely looking into Fischer even if she only does in office consults, because I have heard great things about her.
I'll look up Dr. Zinsser, but since the nips looking right is very important to me, I would be willing to go further for good results.

Personally, I didn't like his resizing. That was my big issue there. I want my nips to be as small as possible, and the results of his that I was able to find were all much larger than I was interested in. They looked good and all appeared to heal very well, but they were all larger than I would've wanted for myself.

Yes, you really should consider a consult with Fischer since her specialty has always been peri/keyhole.  Although, I think she does good DI, she would definitely be a good source for an expert opinion, no matter which surgeon you actually go with.
