It's kind of weird for me. I've always taken Androcur through my HRT, and when I started it downstairs died very quickly. Like, the very next day I already felt a big difference, and after two weeks I felt no need to masturbate but also was difficult getting sexually aroused at all. My T levels were consistently below test range.
As we tried to lower the Androcur dosage gradually, the situation stayed the same until I switched from Estrofem to Oestrogel, and then all of a sudden I had male T and E levels and sexually everything was "working" again.
We raised back the Androcur dosage, and it's just about as dead as it was before in the past 3 months and the blood tests confirm my T is back below test range. Yet strangely enough, I had a "wet dream" last night and woke up with morning erection, though I didn't feel actually sexually aroused and didn't want to masturbate so it dwindled pretty quickly. Still, it's kind of strange that it happened at all. My experience on Androcur is that it never happens if the dosage is not super low, like what I had when I switched to Oestrogel.
Androcur is pretty strong. If you're on Spiro I hear it takes longer, but I've only ever been on Androcur so I wouldn't know.
