FINALLY!

This lady has hormones now!! I went to LR yesterday, my parents drove me.. I cried several times on the way there.. when I met the dr. she was so awesome.. I can't even express in words.. just a being of light! She let me talk and talk.. lol! Which I'm good at and then when I asked her how long I'd have to wait to get prescribed hormones she said "You're getting them today!" Holy cow! I was ecstatic!!

Then she went to write the script and it took a while because she apparently ended up having to help another dr with something but while she was gone I started crying and couldn't even stop!! lol! Eventually I did before she came back and gave me the prescription and info... then I left and I couldn't stop smiling..

I took my first dose yesterday evening and I've not really noticed anything major emotional wise, except I just feel sooooo happy to be at this place now...things ARE happening.. finally! <3

Thank you, Abby! I know.. Although it was funny yesterday I was afraid I had a DVT.. my leg was hurting because I danced like a wild woman the day before! So that was silly of me to worry about, but yes, this waiting thing will be a pain I think but just being on the road now feels so good!

Congrats on the hormones, it really is amazing when you get that first dose..

I remember my first dose, I am on injections. I was so excited, i never even felt the prick. I swear I could feel the hormones following into my body. I was on a high for a few days after that.
