Hi everyone my name is Chelsea!
I'm  in the beginning stages of my transition. I have been seeing a therapist for the past three months; and in that time I came out to my now ex fiancé (she and I are still best friends),family and friends that need to know. I've been on the site off and onbut never joined till now. But that's enough about me for now ;)

Another Jersey resident here. With all the negative NJ jokes, taxes and high cost of living, it's a very good state to transition in. So many resources and anti-discrimination laws that protect us state wide.

I first moved from NC to NJ when I was 15 and it took a long time to adjust. At 18 I moved away for 10 years to East Tennessee (Knoxville where I was born) for College and eventually a job developing Foreign Language Software (The Learning Company Foreign Language Division) but visited a lot with family here. Came back to live NJ as it was kind of like like a fungus and grew on me, LOL.

The real reason I came back to NJ was a job opportunity as The Learning Company had been purchased by Softkey (then later Mattel) and the writing on the wall was that is was going away. 6 months after I left, they shut most of the division down.
