I am not out at work.  Not even close as doing so would result in an emergency round of layoffs to reduce our workforce from n to n-1 even without a good business case.  And for right now our family still needs the schedule flexibility the company grants to accommodate a need of one of our children.

Today it was in the high 70's.  Just below the 78 degrees that the A/C at work is set to kick in at, in fact.  Right at that level where you just start to sweat a little.  I'm in a cube farm, with low walls.

And I have poison oak pretty much everywhere.

Not just the contact rash.  No, no.  While my spouse was removing blackberry volunteers, I used a portable saw to remove a handful of saplings in the backyard.  One set of which was apparently poison oak.  And the plant juices sprayed everywhere, from my scalp to my thighs.  Giving me blisters everywhere.  Including my torso and boobs.

Did I mention I wear a binder to work?

For the past few summers, I've had to stand for long periods of time waiting for the bus in 95+ degree heat and over 80% humidity. And yes I had to bind while wearing business casual "boy clothes".  :-\

I feel your pain!  :)
"There was a sculptor, and he found this stone, a special stone. He dragged it home and he worked on it for months, until he finally finished. When he was ready he showed it to his friends and they said he had created a great statue. And the sculptor said he hadn't created anything, the statue was always there, he just cleared away the small peices." Rambo III

Oh, I feel so much for you!!  I had poison oak/ivy/sumac (who really knows which one I got into?) all over last fall from bow hunting with my son.  I ended up taking a day off of work and went to the Dr. to get some steroidal cream to help me handle it.  Nothing over the counter was working at all.  One day resting in AC with that cream made the next two weeks of it bearable.
Some people say I'm apathetic, but I don't care.
