first: I have a profile on Google+ . You put a profile and you can post stuff and people can respond . It's not a dating site or anything of that nature. So I have my picture and the Schrodinger Equation as my profile picture. No mention of trans because it's irrelevant for the site. A few days ago this very handsome gentlemen whose profile say's he's a general in the army and he uses General in his name, messages me and and says he'd like to add me as a friend because he likes my profile and thinks I'm pretty( his words) so I say cool , a General way cool. So now we're talking all the time, which again is cool because he's a handsome military looking guy.# 1 problem is that I'd like to get to know him , but I curious if there is any way I can check to see if he's really a General. I've googled his name , but the only thing that comes up is the profile. on G+ #2: He seems to be really interested in me and I want to keep talking to him, But I'm pretty sure if not totally positive once the T word comes out he'll stop. I don't know what to do or how to handle this , I'm getting confused. For some reason he says I beautiful and I'm getting quite turned on . Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Try Googling his name or variations of it without the general. Use quotation marks around it when you do. If you can see his email address, Google that or search for it on Facebook.

Try a google search of his email address. You won't get definite answers about him, but it could help you find out what sites he frequents.

I just really want to know if he's a General

I might have to tell him I transgender a lot sooner then I wanted. He's widowed and he's looking for a serious relation and I'm starting to freak too much not knowing if he's real .

well, I've decided to tell him tonight I'm trans so I don't have to worry about this any more. I just can't hurt someone even though this is who I am and not trying to hurt anyone thanks for the help.

I hope this turns out not to be the case, but it's a common scam targeting women to impersonate a service person and act as if they're interested in dating us.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

Well, I just sent a email and told him I'm trans , we'll see what happens'

I think the T-bomb scared him away. Maybe the army can use the T-bomb to scare the solders away and prevent war.

Sorry to hear that. Personally I doubt he was a general, but you never know. If he doesn't want to continue talking because you're trans then unfortunately you are better off not talking with him.

Unfortunately, there are too many people making fake profiles and such to mess with people. I mean, its bad enough for there to be a tv show about it even.

If he was a General anything it was probably a "general idiot"...

I got suspicious because of the speed he went from Hi! to basically proposing and he told me he was part of a peace mission to Iraq , but every time on go on the internet he was there. It would of been nice if he introduced me to Hilary Clinton or The president. I could see going to a White House dinner in a formal evening dress.

He seems to have taken off like a scared rabbit. Before I told him every time I got on google + he'd pop up

Definitely sounds like a faker. You don't make it to O-7 or higher without doing something that would get you to show up in google results.
