Sideburns - keep to hide future scars, or get rid of them?

Most girls don't have sideburns. When I got rid of my facial hair, I decided to keep them - just about 1 inch, in front of my ear, to hide scars from facelift if I needed to, because I though I would only transition and get FFS much later in my life, when I would be so old I'd need a facelift lol

I'm on the wrong side of the thirties. Should I keep them? Am I the only one who kept them??

I've seen some women have really short sideburns but they are sort of a inverted triangle and short like 1/2 inch (hard to tell because the hair is down or brushed behind the ears).  Personally I would get rig of them as FFS/facelift scars are usually well hidden and can be further hidden in a year after surgery using laser treatments.
I'll struggle hard today to live the life I want tomorrow !

Step One - Lose the weight!

Admittedly, I've never seen a woman with sideburns. Surgeons are getting pretty good at hiding scars now. Especially if you haven't had several procedures. Most of the problems in cis women come from multiple face lifts. One would not be so bad.

Never seen a woman with sideburns.  I would suggest loosing them unless its your effort to look like a female with Elvis sideburns, an interesting look I'm sure.

She's no Elvis:

Neither is she:

Yet both have longer sideburns than me. I guess I don't need mine as surgery techniques have improved.

It kind of looks like bangs/fringe for her ears... I kind of like it!  :D

I could be wrong but these don't quite look like facial-hair sideburns, more like longer hair from the lower temple-ish area (is "temple" the right word?). I Do have a Cis Asian friend and she has whispy vellous hair sideburns... She also has a whispy vellous hair mustach though too. She waxes both areas. (don't tell her I told you ;) )

They are not sideburns, it's just the hair combed down that way and the root of the hair is at the top of the ears as a woman's hairline should be.  I think what defines a sideburn is where the root of the hair is located.  If the root of the hair is located central with the ear then it's a sideburn and something I have never seen on a woman, so you might be the first bravo.

Looks good. I will try to have them thinned out to look just like than - when I will have more money. (long happy story for another time, but I may become very poor very soon :) I cross my fingers)

Even when I tried being a guy I didn't want sideburns. I've been completely eliminating them for probably 10+ years. When I started laser she asked and I said go for it. Get rid of them.
