I started low dose testosterone a few weeks back. I just got my period and I feel exhausted. Like I've been hit by a bus. And shaky. Has anyone had an increase in symptoms during their period?

Hormones hit people differently. Especially when you have both male and female hormones ( one being raised from the outside), working against each other.

Its been a long time since I started T, but I don't recall any problems. My dose was started fairly high, and I never had another period again.

On the other hand, before finding my new doc, my T had dropped below low normal, and I did have mood swings then. I don't have ovaries, but the lower dose caused me to get depressed, angry, exhausted. I don't know if the dose is playing into your mood swings, but its definately a good thing to talk to your Dr. about.
