Hi I am 17 ( just 7 hours to be 18) years old transgender my biological sex is male, and I didn't use any hormones, I am going to start in one month. and I have questions about transition. When I watched transition videos on youtube their face looks very feminine after 12 month but as I have read on wikipedia and most of forums people says that It just makes skin softer and thinner . But why then people that I saw on youtube look very feminine? I know HRR doesn't change bone structure but their cheeks look more fuller and maybe eyebrows getting higher? I am really confused I don't want to look like a man in a woman dress ?  I have already little chin, I will just have rhinoplasty and forehead augmentation . But I am still worrying about the results. And I am wearing 40(US)  and if I force I can wear 39(EU) so will HRT reduce my feet size?
Thank you <3 <3

People have reported changes in hands and feet in much higher ages...

I'd say relax, eat and drink healthy, have a bit of regular exercise like walking...
and see what comes along...

its advisable to pluck or shape your eyebrows from below...

I had a psychologist tell me the same thing - that HRT wouldn't feminize my face.

It did.

I don't know why so many people insist that it doesn't. I've seen it do amazing things, though your bone structure  you're pretty much stuck with.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

Testosterone and estrogen levels definitely influence facial femininity and masculinity, respectively. The more T you have floating around, the less fat deposits you'll develop in certain areas of your face, whereas E will soften your face by repositioning some of your body fat in your face in ways that we associate with being more feminine. At least, that's what I've come to understand. In any case, I guarantee that skin softening is not the only influence on HRT feminisation.

Congrats on nearly turning 18, and good luck on HRT!

Your feet are tiny! Don't cram them into smaller shoes!

My face has totally feminized, and I started on HRT a year and a half ago, at 31. Starting hormones at 18, you won't need FFS. Hell, I don't need it!

Be sure to get your hormones through a qualified LGBT clinic, and never self-medicate! You're going to need periodic blood work to make sure everything is functioning properly.

Having said all of that, congratulations on taking such an important step in your life! :)
