Those of you in scientific circles---and maybe some of you who aren't---have likely caught headlines about Sir Tim Hunt's ill considered remarks in regards to women scientists. Part of the backlash is the #DistractinglySexy hashtag, which is devoted to pointing out science mainly involves things which aren't exactly sexy and shouldn't, contrary to Sir Tim's assertions, create any problems for researchers who are attracted to women to stay focused. Quite a bit of PPE (personal protective equipment) is featured, including bunny suits, face shields, and respirators. The archaeologists and soils crowd is doing a fine job of coming up with pictures of themselves with their heads literally in the ground.
As someone with a penchant for snark I find this sort of response is delightful and recommend searching #DistractinglySexy if you're interested. I wanted to jump on board and decided Susan's was the place, so here's a picture of yours truly in headnet and the rest of full bug gear triggering the camera at a wildlife monitoring station to document the service date. If the various biting flying things aren't enough the thing behind my head is about 15 pounds of rotting meat used to bait the station. It's due for discard as only vultures are interested anymore. Do I pass? Is my makeup OK?

Please post your own if you're so inclined. It's a bit of an atypical direction for tgirl pictures so this thread may flop. But it'd be awesome if it goes; worthy of a try, I think.
