"Pretty Hurts" (TW for dysphoria, body image issues)

(I am unsure if this is the correct board for this to be placed in. If not, I apologize and greatly appreciate it being moved to its appropriate place.)

So, to be honest, this isn't the first time I've felt a strong resonance with some of Beyonce's work. While the song "Pretty Hurts" does not explicitly deal with transgender issues, I feel as though we can definitely use these messages in our own life. I mean, I would be lying if I said I hadn't broken down more than once to the song "If I Were A Boy". Back to the point, I was wondering if any of you around here have found her work to be enlightening, cathartic or otherwise interesting.
