I have some awesome news, at least for me as it is really working for me that is. In the last 8 days of my 3 month hrt journey I've seen the most changes in that short time than the entire time before!!
After researching and researching hrt, meds, interactions, contraindications, nutrition, health and the list goes on I continually seen how Spironolactone is used best when healthy fats are consumed with the med and that estrogen medication stays in the system longer and more is used when taken with Grapefruit Juice. Sooooo, for 8 days I have been taking my two doses of Estrofem and Spiro with 3-4 oz of Grapefruit Juice and Organic Soy Milk respectively. In this short time I've been literally seeing accelerated hair regrowth on my head, and body hair literally killing off my body like CRAZY!!! Not to mention my facial hair has greatly slowed down, and tiny areas I had facial hair are actually thinning.
I am sooo pleased right now and my mood is top of the world!
I just ordered my first dosages of Micronized Progesterone and Estrogen Patches too. I'll be wearing one estrogen patch, taking oral estrogen with grapefruit juice 2x daily, and taking my Spiro the usual 2x daily with organic soy milk and for the last 12 days a month taking my progesterone. This is all lovely and exciting, I just wonder what my hormone levels are.
