Woman come in all sizes, and this idea that everyone should be bone skinny to wear a bikini or swimsuit is just ridiculous and even harmful to some people who take that as something they should strive for. I know that no-one cares how I look anyway. The only one who cares, is me. In fact, when you have the body of supermodel all you get is jealous looks. I enjoy my stay at the beach more than the skinny ones do, who gets being whistled at the minute she stands up. At least I'm not judged favorably by my looks. That said, who wants to be approached on the beach. I just want to enjoy the sun and take a swim.
So I wonder who truly enjoys her stay at the beach...
Just saying... maybe it positively helps someone who feels she's not "worthy" of being seem in a bikini. Well... just wear it, and enjoy. Time is short, life is short. And nobody cares anyway.

I feel I look great in a one-piece -- bikini I wlll wait but that is my choice -- sure a lady should wear a bikini at the beach if she wants to --
Depending on what country I'm in I frequently wear pink hot pants in shopping centers. I am treated excellently in person by friends and strangers when I do this. As you say, life is short -- and I sure am not 20 years old anymore --
Sometimes this has gotten me disapproval of women who feel I shouldn't dress so young. Okay for work that is fine for work I dress more conservatively -- but even then in an evening dress that is usually used by ladies say mid 30s maybe to age 40 -- and I'm well past that age. Some online women have unfriended me because they disagree that I frequently dress so young. So what. I used to let it bother me but no longer. I just don't give a s-- anymore. My happiness I've found comes a lot from flaunting my girly feminine attributes. Any person is more than welcome to unfriend me if they disagree with me about my happiness and some people have. So what ?
If a lady who feels she is less than a supermodel wants to wear a bikini at the beach heck YES -- ignore anyone who appears not to like it --
in YOUR words enjoy the beach -- in a bikini if you want to ?

Here I am in pink hot pants. I feel I look stunning and beautiful and hundreds of people especially MEN have told me so. Does it matter that I am well past 20 years old ? NOT AT ALL.
If a girl wants to wear a bikini at the beach as you say, or a girl wants to wear pink hot pants like me in the photo of me near the canal even though I'm way beyond 20 years old or in a shopping center -- seize the day and just GO FOR IT !!!
