Men look at woman. It's what they do. I think it is hormonal.

Yes. It will take a lot of trial and errors. Everybody here was once a novice in going out. Me, too.

BTW, I enjoy glances and stares from women, not from men. I hate those stares of aged men here.

Oh men and women look at each other differently. Woman look at other women to check her hair, clothes, how she presents. But women look very casually. Until you pick it you don't notice. We just have a casual glance.

Same as when I check out a man. I don't want him to see me checking him out. But I do!

Hi Yenneffer

Well, there you go!  You're now on part of an interesting journey.  Firstly, have faith in yourself, and always, always be kind to yourself.

We transgender folk walk an interesting road, with ups and downs.  Guys will look - it's cool.  Girls will look - it's also cool.  Forget about their motives, and smile.  Some days nobody will look - it's also cool.

Try not to beat yourself up about stuff - we all have bad days, and we've all had times when we know that a store assistant has figured us out (whatever that might mean), but is kind enough to just do his/her job.  It's also cool, and little by little you will find yourself reveling in your transition and finding yourself comfortable with who you are becoming.  Just don't be a perfectionist, give yourself time, and don't turn little bumps in the road into mountains.

Hugs
Julia

No worries, all is forgiven. Love the sound of what you were wearing. Yenneffer you will get used to it. No doubt that it is a sign of passing when men start looking the way they do. Big hugs

Men and women looking was something that I had to adjust too. Like you it wigged me at out at first but men are gonna look and women are gonna look for different reasons (Cindy described why). This is completely normal - welcome to being a woman  :)

Yes. I can tell the difference in stares of men, too. My male colleagues and friends usually look at me very casually, while some men stare and study my face, making me guess that these guys recognize me as a woman.
