Yes I die it! I just made my first self Injektion. I am soooooo happy.

I am on injections since four weeks. For me it is by far the best delivery method. I never felt so calm, happy and full of power since my birth. The first I time ever my dysphoria is completely away.

Before injections I tried out pills, gel and patches for 1.5 years and I never was fully satisfied.

Of course I currently do not know how my feminization is going on with injections. I pretty sure the results will be great.

It was really hard to get injections here in Germany. They are not longer available in Western Germany. I had to convince my endo to get a prescription for importing them from the Czech Republic. My doc did not thinks injections are better than other delivery methods and my pharmacy did not wanted to import them.

I used a 20 gauge needle in the ventrogluteal site and it was pain free. No big deal  ;D

Yay. Congrats. That is how I feel about injections basically pain free and my experience has been great. I hope yours is too. Hugs

Congrats; self injections are very convenient, but I still consider them to be a pain in the ass  ;)

Well another option would be implants of bioidentical estrogen...
they are also used for menopausal women...

Only problem i see, potentially happening, with implants is that they tend to deliver very stable levels which if too stable could begin to desensitize estrogen receptors, not good! whereas with injections, levels fluctuate more but not to the extent that they may cause problems if injected frequently enough.
I am not a medical doctor, nor a scientist - opinions expressed by me on the subject of HRT are merely based on my own review of some of the scientific literature over the last decade or so, on anecdotal evidence from women in various discussion forums that I have come across, and my personal experience

On HRT since early 2004
Post-op since late 2005

Well if they are implanted in the butt levels might change a bit with pressure there during the day... sitting down etc :)

Implants  are nearly impossible to get Here because they are not available in Europe. Imports from the USA are extremly restricted.

Well compounding pharmacies deliver worldwide... parcels directly to ordering doctors are restricted ?
And there are testosterone implants for trans men... they are a usual regimen, aren't they ?

Yes Imports are restricted if from outside of Europe and nearly impossible to get. Therefore the endos Here do not habe any experience with implants and will not fill a prescription for.

Implants have no approval to be sold here. Without CE certification it is not possible to get a prescription for. Without it would be illegal.

I never met a girl with implants here. I am one of the very girl here who is on injections.

Testo injections are very common but also no implants available.

That's great! I've found self-injection to be much easier than I'd thought. And the results have been much better and faster than expected.
Finally at peace with myself and excited about the journey ahead

Thanks. I will stay on injections at least for half an year to see how feminization is going on. And they are covered by my health insurance. For implants coverage will be hard to get but thanks for the adress! I am a working mom with small twins. Every Euro spend lessbon hormons is a good Euro :-)

Self-injecting is really a good solution. Only once a week for 10min I have to care about hormons. Than I am free to care about my kids and my job.
