Does anyone in the U.S. have this feeling that some people who hate LGBT persons will resort to terrorism if we win at the Supreme Court on Thursday. I'm becoming kind of nervous about going into LGBT-specific spaces like gay bars, an LGBT library, or a pride parade because of this feeling. Maybe I should just put aside the fear and live, and whatever happens, happens, and we cannot live forever anyways.

I think the possibility of organized terrorism is pretty remote and unlikely, and the FBI actively monitors all known domestic terrorist groups (such as the militias and the fringe elements of the KKK) that are likely to do something like that. 

However, political and religious extremism tends to hold a strong attraction for mentally ill folks who have an ax to grind, and we cannot rule out the possibility of another "lone wolf" attack like the guy that shot up the church in Charleston.

I would not say don't go out, but I would say be vigilant, and look for and be aware of people who look like they don't belong.  Stick to bars that have bouncers and security, and parades that have police coverage, and report anything that looks suspicious.

I'm having a ton of anxiety right now. This is just one thing that makes me a little nervous, but I could be blowing things out of proportion. However, we have no shortage of heavily armed, crazy and violent people in this country.

I don't believe there is any reason to be paranoid, but it is always wise to ensure you are in a safe place and be cautious for your personal safety.

sometimes it is wise to get a little perspective.  Thought that these stats might help.  I have seen a different listing showing other forms of death and 40 people a year die from cows and horses.  While the murder rate for transgender people is appalling, far more of us commit suicide.  Not to say that it couldn't happen, just that it hasn't yet.

I can't imagine it'll be more dangerous than usual. Those who wish us violence are going to wish us violence independent of what the 9 straight cisgender folks decide.

I'm more concerned that Justice Kennedy will not want to go down in history, and will declare this a states rights issue, and we'll lose a lot of the momentum we've gained.

Its honestly becoming the new normal. People don't pay attention they view us as the norm. Also you can change your gender and name before having surgery.
