Just sort of wondering How are your plans going for Thanksgiving. I'll be spending a nice quiet Turkey day cleaning my apartment for inspection for bed bugs and cooking a turkey and rutabaga and dressing for my favorite Thanksgiving leftover fried turkey and dressing ..

My hell stems from having to make the rounds and show my face at so many tables. I hope I don't go into turkey coma before I finally get back home!
At what point did my life go Looney Tunes? How did it happen? Who's to blame?... Batman, that's who. Batman! It's always been Batman! Ruining my life, spoiling my fun! >:-)

My son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren will be with my DIL's mom this year since her dad passed away a few months ago.  They will be several hundred miles away.  Since no other family is nearby it will be just my wife and I so we'll probably just find someplace open and eat out.

I get to have Thanksgiving with my Mom, Dad, Sister and Wife at my parents' house.  I always had a strained relationship with my family and this was something I used to dread unless I was sufficiently drunk.  Strangely enough, we're all a lot closer now that I've transitioned and the dark cloud that used to follow me is gone.  Or maybe I just used to be kind of an ->-bleeped-<- and rubbed everyone the wrong way.  Anyway, I'm actually super excited about it this year and spending the whole 4 days there.

I was originally not going to have a nice Thanksgiving, since my parents and I aren't talking anymore. My boyfriend's family is inviting me to join them, though. Both families argue that their reasons are from Christian values. I may not be Christian, but I know which one is right.
