I had this up for a friend to listen to on tumblr (she wanted to hear if Shakespeare sounded better in an english accent or an American one. Sorry it isn't vocaroo but I thought hey I've already been through the torture of recording my voice so whatever.) so idk does my voice pass? and if so, how old?

I think it could be interpreted a number of ways. On its own, maybe mid-late teen? But I mean, if you look much older in person, that voice wouldn't sound too out of place with an early-twenties face, I reckon.

Really great voice for pre-T, whoa! On voice alone I'd say like 15... but with an older face it the sounding young would be balanced out, and wouldn't seem out of place.

Huh, I got 15 before from an old therapist (specifically "yeah you sound a lot like my son"). Better than I expected!

I get "she" a lot. I recorded this late at night (I've found my voice starts out high and gets lower as the day goes on). What do you guys think?

you sound 15 or 16 to me, just not exactly masculine yet. with the depth you have right now, i think that your voice will most likely drop really nicely.

also, you're in the croaky stage right now! that time is absolute hell lol. hopefully the people around you are nicer than they were to me. i got called out every time my voice cracked.

Thanks for your honesty! I'm actually 28, but since I look young too at least it matches up.

And yeah I'm totally in the croaky stage. So far my friends aren't really busting me on it, but I feel like I sound like I'm forever hoarse.

you're welcome! i do think that your voice will drop nicely, though. before you know it, you'll have a noticeably deeper voice.

you should 14-15 to me when your voice stays lower, but maybe down to 13 when you raise your tone. you'll have a deep voice on t!
