Current male fashion, like it or?

I have to admit I like fit and healthy men. I loathe the current hipster fashion though. I really don't like being kissed by a man with a beard, it scratches.

And  can someone tell me were this current fashion of socks, shorts and a t-shirt comes from? Even when it is cold?

OK men can never get their heads around women and clothes for some reason and I love well dressed and groomed men, but there seems some odd looks.

Showing my age I suppose, and I don't watch TV so maybe I have missed some male fashion shift.

Light hearted post BTW

I'm probably the wrong person to ask. I haven't seen any men's fashions I like since the early or mid 18th century. I strongly suspect that was one of my earliest dysphoria symptoms. Baggy and squared off just does nothing for me.
April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

Fashion for men is going in a more androgynous direction.  Tighter clothes, more skin, ect.  Like Europe.  I think this is a good thing but tbh it makes it a bit harder to look feminine in tight jeans when all the guys are wearing similar stuff.  Not a fan of hipster fashion but I really like the trend of decent beards, sometimes they come off as try hard but a nice beard is very nice.

Ever since it became fashionable for adult men to dress like children men's fashion has completely escaped me. Men seem to have two choices-- the uncomfortable white collar work style or frat house beer bust wear. It seems to emphasize the theory that women are the higher evolved gender.

Wow, well that was offensive

Wait, is there something weird about "socks, shorts and t-shirts"? Presumably they're wearing shoes too. Shorts and t-shirt is like the most staple summer or temperate outfit you can get. What else are you supposed to wear? lol

Also I love beards on (most) guys. Mmm lumberjacks... ;)

all the guys around here wear t-shirts, shorts and gym shoes . I thought that was the standard uniform. The guys around here are all clean shaven too. I'm looking out a coffee house café right now and don't see any socks either. a lot of baseball caps though.

I don't mind the whole hipster trend. Some of the "hipster" style clothes are actually decent and it sure beats some other trends that are out there because at least people who wear hipster stuff are trying to be or at least seem intellectual. It's just the pretentious attitude of some of the wearers that I don't like. And the lenseless glasses...

Where I live there's this whole country western fad. The only problem with that is I live on the eastern side of the U.S., nowhere close to anything country western so everyone around here thinks they're cowboys when really our "county" out here is just the Appalachian sticks.

being a geek I lament the lack of cloaks, capes, and belt pouches.
What is a Lie when it's at home? Anyone?
Is it the depressed little voice inside? Whispering in my ear? Telling me to give up?
Well I'm not giving up. Not for that part of me that hates myself. That part wants me to wither and die. not for you. Never for you.  --Loki: Agent of Asgard

Most guys walking round Blackpool wear sports gear(which looks ridiculous on a fat slob or middle aged man who's never kicked a ball since school).

In today's time there are so many ways of self-expression that there honestly isn't a "current" fashion, as there's just so many different types. But if we're just talking about the "hipster" style, no, I don't personally enjoy that, either.
I find practical clothing attractive, whether male or female, tbh.

I also reeeeeeally like men in suits or formal attire.
Especially "fit or healthy" men in suits or formal attire so...

I loved this hipster-ish stuff, because when I was heavily into androgynous presentation, it helped to ease things in - "So, what are You looking at? Dont You know that all this stuff is actually male clothes?" Now, when it comes to persons wearing this kind of fashion, not really my type - beard is not the issue, but I dont want to be with someone who would be blown away by wind unless he wears a hip rucksack filled with bricks :)

I hate the man bun hairstyle. I hate when guys TRY to make their hair into a bun but they have barely any hair to do it.

I also REALLLYYYYY dislike when guys wear sandals with white socks and shorts. I don't know why but it just really really bugs me. I had to wear compression socks and sandals after my surgery for about a week and I hated myself.

Guys who wear "Stringer" tank tops everywhere is really horrible too. If you are not at the damn gym DON'T WEAR IT EVERYWHERE.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I dunno.

Sandals with any colour socks is wrong on every level

I think that men with well-tended beards look rather nice!  Of course, I'm happily married, so I'll never have to worry about kissing them.  ;)  Oh... and when they wear flannel and suspenders, I immediately assume that they're wearing panties and a bra.  But... that's just showing my age, isn't it?

And yeah, the tight jeans & shorter shorts help me blend in a little... but today, it's a little colder so I had to put my boy jeans back on.  Made up for it with a girl-cut tee and some cute maryjanes peeking out from under those baggy jeans.

Lmao, that's very true.

Another thing that bugs me are people who match their sunglasses with the color of their car. I've seen guys driving white cars, wearing a white baseball hat, and white sunglasses.. ugh
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I dunno.

No, it's boring. It's bland, it's always the same.
