I tried the control top panty hose with the legs cut off used as a thong as shown in the Wiki. However, I found that the panty hose leg edges can pinch and hurt sometimes. So I borrowed one of my wife's Always Maxi panty shields with the wings and put that on the panty hose. Now I am much more comfortable with that little bit of padding and protection.

Not for nothing, but there are control top panties by themselves (they come in light control, medium control and extra firm control, I recommend the latter) No need to destroy pantyhose and they're a lot more durable.  Yeah, Jocleyn does the layering thing, too, it seems to help.

Rather than gluing, taping or hiring a seamstress to redesign support hose why not try the extra firm body shaper? They're much more reliable than anything else and until some rocket scientist hears about the tucking problem it's the best current solution. For those who remember the five and dimes that are gone with the Schwinn, there was a solution we all enojoyed as kids. They were called Chinese Handcuffs but were a childs toy made to lock the fingers together. They were about the size and shape of a roll of dimes and when you pushed your fingers into each end they expanded and relaxed but when you tried to pull your fingers out they tightened and locked your fingers together. For those that remember them, take that idea one step ahead and add speghetti straps or ribbons to one end that can be pulled up the back side around each side and tied at the waist in front. If I remember right the toy was made of straw woven into a tube shape. For tucking purposes it'd have to be made of something else so long as it still worked. Until I find a desgner to help me create this much needed device, the idea is open to anyone who knows exactly what I'm talking about. First one to find a designer wins! In the meantime, the body shaper works best when wearing clothes that cover it.

    I always wanted to use staples, duct tape, super glue or get piercings.  Anything to get rid of that garbage between my legs and get a nice smooth look.   I think most MTF loathe their male parts and will go to great lengths to hide them completely.  If its painful that's ok because the male parts deserve it just for being there.

    I found there is no reason to go overboard or invent something new.  I settled on tight stretchy panties or control briefs.  A quick tuck & I was all set for the day.  In the summer I'd use some Vagisil to keep things fresh.  I used the medical wrap stuff that sticks to itself but not to the skin when I wanted to be extra smooth.  You can use it to keep the testicles up inside.  Then the stretchy panties keep the rest of it up against your body.

I tried doing that a few years ago and I'm sorry to say this--didn't work. 

If I do this according to the recommended directions, then I'll be very uncomfortable. I'd have sharp pain in both my legs and I'd just rather not risk the pain until I hit to the lowest point.

Sorry to be a spoilsport, but it'll now cost me $4 since I use maxi-pads.

I will try this again "when the time comes."

You use a staple gun, buy one in a DIY shop. Shower and shave, drink a lot, tuck then staple into place. Wear any panties you want. Worked a treat for me last night.
Now how to get the staples out?

Sooo, this is an mostly an old thread, but can anyone else vouch for this Vagisil trick?  I was thinking today about how much I would want an anti-viagra -- spent half an hour trying to tuck and tape but getting nowhere.  I can get the things in but they don't stay up for long, and all the touching makes things hard to fit into the panties when its time to slide them up.

In the UK "Vagisil" is a topical (externally applied to skin) anaesthetic cream designed to relieve the symptoms of irritation (itching). It does reduce the sensitivity of the skin, but not sensation overall...., so as it also makes things more "slippery" I would not think it would help much here.

But seriously, I've become rather proficient at tucking. It took awhile to figure and to get the right size panties (very important) But alas I rarely have to worry about the annoying dangler falling out any more

Yes being none flippant paractice makes perfect and I use a padded hip protector to give me some hips.

I've found a way to get the staples out. It's all in the diet.

Too easy! I have some thumb tacks painted to look like nice blue eyes. Push them in, looks as if I'm awake, I've had dates talk for hours not knowing: 1) I'm asleep 2) I've just blinded myself. Mmmm. Time for plan B, Hot glue  - no, Araldite!  No I'll fiberglass them on, nice and bushy - change colours any time. Lord this make up stuff keeps us girls busy, don't know how the guys wait! NO WAY!! I spent my late teens early twenties searching for that kind of product, even asked doctors than just shrugged. damn!
I had no control of that thing down there growing up... it had it's own brain.. and it wasn't that bright may I add. Talk about bad timing. sshheesshh!
As far as tucking goes I use that control panty thingy that pulls everything in tight. does the trick. I mean I can wear anything too tight until it's gone but ...so be it.
It is very important to be able to get it out quick to wee and get it back in place just as quick when you're out at a busy bar/nightclub.
