Uneven Facial Hair Growth?

Hi guys,

My body is having a field day on T, even at the half dose I had for the first seven weeks (full dose now). I've started growing sideburns, which is something I've dreamed about since I was a kid. BUT! They seem to grow more on one side than the other--anyone else experience this? Like, the left is coming in at a noticeable clip, but the right: just a few whiskers here and there.

I guess it makes sense that one side of my body is different than the other, but I just never imagined guys had this issue with facial hair. I'm not even sure how to deal with it--just suck it up until it evens out, I guess?

I have this, the right side of my face is significantly fluffier along my sideburns and under my jaw, as those are the major places I have hair. My mustache is pretty even. Also, coincidentally enough, this morning I noticed that the left side of my face is trying WAY harder to connect my chin fluff to my mustache "catfish whiskers" (what I call the hair that would maybe make a goatee if it connected all the way, that's just south of the mustache) and is much thicker. It'll sort itself out with time, just enjoy the ride!

Mine is the same, the right side grows faster and thicker than the left. Significantly so.

When I was a little further on my T one side of my face was growing while the other one wasn't. It' starting to even out now and my "goatee" and neck hairs are completely out of control but it's still patchy looking. Takes time :P

I try not to shave either.. I just trim it so I don't look like a complete disaster.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I dunno.

Haha, thanks guys. Nice to know we are all in the same unevenly-whiskered boat  ;D

And I've already started to think, that something is wrong with me  :P
Because "Google" said, that uneven growth of facial hair has to have other reasons than the hormone level.

My "mustache" and chin-hair already started to grow after just a month on T. The mustache was the first one to show up. However after a half year I also started to get sideburns the the chin-hair started to extend more to the sides, but ...

Chin-Hair went much further on my left side (looks already kinda acceptable) and sideburns showed up much more on the right side. Now a year on T it slowly evens out. I really hope that it will get even better, because it still doesn't look really good  :-X

Also interesting: Even if the "mustache" was the first facial hair I got, it somehow now is much less visible than it was on the beginning.
Someone else facing the same problem?

My facial hair is definitely thicker on the left and also that's the only part it's really darkened at. My hair starts off white then gets thicker and THEN turns dark, so my scruff is only just beginning to show now, though I've had blond facial hair for months. On the right its about as developed as the left was around 7-8 months and I'm at 10 months now. Hair didn't even start to grown until about 3-4 at the earliest.

Here are some pictures to give you guys an idea of what I got :p. 2 years on T and I still feel like it's not much. Like I said I don't shave it now I just trim it. Looks like I got pubes on my chin

(not the best lighting sorry)

My facial hair is also a bit thicker on the left side than on the right. My mustache and chin are even but my sideburns are a bit uneven in terms of thickness, and I have a few dark hairs on my jawline on the left that aren't there on the right. The hair looks like it's getting ready to start coming in darker on the sides (I have long peach fuzz as it stands now), but the left again looks like it will be a bit thicker. It's not too severe for me but there is a difference. I'm sure it'll even out in time.

In order, I got: left chin hair, neck hair, sideburns, right chin hair, mustache hair. It's still slowly starting to spread out and fill in. As much as I love it, it looks goofy if I just let it grow as it is. Terribly patchy.

My facial hair growth isn't as fast as I'd like, but I still can tell it's more dark fluff on the right side more than the left. My right sideburn is darker and longer than the left, so I have to shave them to make them even.  Nothing on the upper lip but thick fluff under chin with a few coarse genuine facial hair. ;D

Finding new whiskers is my favorite hobby these days. Second only to searching for chest hairs.  ;D

For some reason when I started getting facial hair I assumed it would start as one even layer and thicken from there. Not even close. The mustache came in slowly first, then one sideburn grew faster than the other, then little patches on each side of my chin, then some under my chin just above my neck, and it's trying to slowly connect and fill in. It's all patchy and scraggly. It'll get there, though.
Apologies, I'm not myself but I can guarantee
That when I get back, you won't believe
That you knew me well
Don't want to think about it
I'm ****in' tired of getting sick about it
Now stand back up and be a man about it
And fight for something, fight for something, fight for something!

I can second the uneven growth thing. I'm about 20 months on T and while I feel pretty good about how much growth I've had, it is definitely uneven. My right side is definitely ahead in thickness and consistency.

My growth pattern has been: chin, neck, corner of jawline (spreading both up (sideburns) and down toward chin), cheeks. I've just started getting thicker growth at the corner of my mouth as well  and that is spreading toward center. It is frustrating though. My wife likes me to keep some facial hair but my right side jawline/sideburn/chin connects pretty well. My left side still has about a half inch gap between jawline and chin. Makes it look a little wonky but... She likes it so what can you do? :)

As a AMAB, I can say that even most born male people have uneven facial hair growth. I might not be so quick to assign it to a result of the T. Mine grows in patches, and even when I had a long (8+") beard, it was thicker in one spot than the other.

If I could give you my facial hair, I would.....
