"Police in Fresno, Calif., are searching for unidentified suspects in connection with the Thursday early morning stabbing death of 66-year-old K.c. Haggard, who local advocates say was a trans woman."

This is tragic - and a very sad example of how careful we need to be when out in public as trans people. WHile we should be able to consider ourselves safe and free to be where we want to be, when and how, there are still hateful violent people who do not have the same regard.
