My apologies for previously breaking rules when trying to share this review, and the frustration I clearly displayed. Hope this doesn't break any rules. Here it is.
ReelMagik STP vs Emisil STP (Unreleased)
I know many of you have been waiting on a comparison between these two products! I have been lucky enough to test both and can provide first-hand opinions and comparisons. If there is a question you have that I didn't cover, please let me know and I will try my best to answer it!
Also note that the Emisil is not yet available to purchase but should be soon! Keep checking their website.
Keep in mind that the Emisil one was written before I owned a ReelMagik.
Appearance:
Size: They are similar in size, as you can see in the photos. The ReelMagik is heavier than the Emisil. The testicles are larger and heavier, and the shaft is slightly longer. But the ReelMagik has a wider shaft girth.
Shape: They are quite different in shape, due to the nature of their funnels. The ReelMagik "hangs" more, while the Emisil is more horizontal linear, if that makes sense! The funnel is larger in the Emisil.
Colour: Both have extreme amounts of detail in the paint. The testicles are darker on the Emisil and there is more colour variation on the various parts of the prosthetic. The ReelMagik has less drastic variation but more subtle freckling and detail in the skin.
Feel: The skin on the Emisil is tougher, less smooth, but stronger feeling. The testicles have thicker skin and are more 'liquid' inside. The ReelMagik testicles feel more like 'gel' throughout. The skin is softer and gentler. It stretches more and is much more bendy. The shaft is floppier than the Emisil that stands semi-erect.
When wearing: The Emisil funnel covers your entire lower genitalia. If worn to pack in 'peeing' position, the shaft will stick out from between the legs. It is comfortable to wear in peeing position at all times, this is the most comfortable way I've found. The shaft pokes out a bit, I tuck it upwards into tighter underwear. The ReelMagik prosthetic hangs in the front of the body more than being 'underneath'. There is much more 'hang', and a bit more 'bulge'. The bulge in the pants is a bit more realistic as it it is created by a soft curve rather than a slight poke of a shaft. With the ReelMagik you have to be careful not to sit on the testicles as they are further back. That is the compromise for the funnel sitting against you and covering more space. The ReelMagic funnel is smaller and doesn't extend as far back. Possibly less cumbersome, but less reliable for STP. I never found the Emisil funnel to be uncomfortable to wear.
Peeing:
Let me start by saying both are great STPs. They are just difference for preference. The Emisil is more 'foolproof' or 'leakproof'. It covers more of your genitalia and is very, very hard to mess up. The shaft is sturdy and the flow is very difficult to interrupt. The only difficulty can be getting the angle right through pants, I recommend underwear with an opening fly.
The ReelMagik has a 'no drip lip' that works pretty well, but if not positioned precisely the urine can spill back over it. Body and shaft positioning also have to be fairly precise for the mechanics to work. It works well, you just have to be precise about it. The Emisil is better for simplicity and confidence.
Playing:
I will start this section by saying neither of these products are marketed for play.
I have yet to try the ReelMagik for play, but it is extremely soft and flimsy and I'm not sure how that will work out. If play is your primary focus I wouldn't buy an STP product, none of them are ideal for play, especially not this one.
The Emisil actually works really well for play! I used a peecock erection rod and a condom of course, wearing it with a harness, and it worked really well for both myself and my partner. The way the shaft is designed linear rather than hanging serves well for play. It sticks out at a good angle where the ReelMagik would not.
General Wear/Other Notes:
As noted in my ReelMagik review, I have yet to get the adhesive to work properly. I have followed all directions, and am beginning to think it just doesn't work for my body. That being said. I know other guys have had success in this area. I worry that the way the ReelMagik prosthetic hangs, it would need a very supportive harness to stop it from 'swinging' around. The receptacle could easily swing out of place without adhesive. Currently I'm wearing it with a harness and some adhesive to give it a bit of stick, because neither thing on its own seemed entirely practical.
The Emisil does not adhere, but works very well with many harnesses. I recommend a harness with leg straps as these are heavy prosthetics and they are much more comfortable with that extra support.
Both companies had fantastic customer service. They both responded to all emails in great time, and were eager to help. Emisil packers come from Lithuania and there was a bit of a language barrier but they were extremely patient with figuring out what I was trying to say and did an awesome job communicating with me. Also the packer shipped in similar time to the ReelMagik despite distance!
Which Should I Buy?
Buy Emisil If:
· STPing is difficult for you and you want the most foolproof option
· Sexual play with your STP prosthetic is something important to you
· You don't care to adhere your prosthetic
· You want something strong/sturdy feeling
Buy ReelMagik If:
· Realistic "hang" is important to you
· Adhesive works well with your body or you really want to use adhesive
· The appearance in your underwear is important, this product has a more realistic bulge and grab feel
· Play isn't a priority
· Realistic skin feel is important, more malleable testicles
These are both fantastic products and you can't go wrong with either one. Let me know if I can help you with any more questions or comparisons!
I have now reviewed: Peecock 2, TSW Python, TSW Diamond, Eroticreations (old), Eroticreations (new), Emisil Erect, Emisil STP, ReelMagik STP.
