Apologies if there is a review on this provider, but I searched and did not find it.

I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge of Dr. Toby Meltzer in Scottsdale, AZ. The office's website [will link if approved] seems to show that he is quite academically aware and has been published on several MTF and FTM surgical procedures.

This is a two hour drive from my home, and when the time comes for me to consider surgery, I would like to stay in my State if possible.

I had a scalp advancement, type 3 forehead reconstruction, rhinoplasty, and a cheek lift done by Dr. Meltzer, and I am very pleased with the results.

I've heard good things about Dr. Meltzer....he's been around since I had my SRS in the early 90's.
I was going to go to him, but Dr. Menard/Brassard was closer.

Thank you for your reply on Dr. Meltzer. I have been acquainted with his work since 2007 when I had a chance to meet him at the WPATH Conference in Chicago. I attended a seminar where Dr. Becky presented her GRS technique with Dr. Meltzer in the room. The two ended up in a..ugh..."lively" discussion. I have gotten to know some of his patients and the results I saw were impressive. By the look of your profile picture it seems like you also had an outstanding outcome.

Although it took several months to even get an appointment with him, and many more to get the surgery, I am having rhinoplasty and under eye work done in March 2016.  :icon_joy: I I could raise all the funds I would have scalp advancement and brow bossing, but that probably wont happen

I haven't met the man but I was trying to figure out what was done in my reassignment surgery with thoughts of a possible revision and his name was one of the two suggested. My surgery is very old and not preformed in the same manor that surgeries are today and the suggestion that he is one of the few that might be able to preform a major revision says a good deal for his skill level. I have learned more from other sources so I don't think revision will be needed.
