Hi, I'm Natalie. Here's a bit about me. Mid 30's (no idea if it's bad form to post my age so sorry in advance if so). Been self-identifying as trans since 2009, came out to mom and sis in 2012. Have had a little counseling, but no medical treatment other than a few laser sessions. I'm excited about a new job opportunity I've just begun that will hopefully provide the resources to lead to HRT this year and an on-the-job transition in the next few years (something that was never seemed feasible with my previous employer). So the future looks bright!
One of the bigger problems I have is that I don't know any other transgender people, so that's why I'm here. I live in Northern Nevada and trans resources are limited compared to where I used to live. So I thought I'd join a forum for the first time since maybe 1998. This community seems awesome, I am excited to be a part of it!
