I see Dr. Kahn from the hfhs for my primary care.
I saw her for awhile before I had the courage to tell her. I was scared that she would drop me or something and I had to have a doc for school reasons so I waited awhile till that was finished before I mentioned it.
Anyways, a few months and a few visits after I started seeing her I told her I'm trans. She didn't blink and said, "so"? Was no big deal. I asked bout hrt and all that but she said she can't do that, but did refer me to someone who could, so she helped in a way.
Eventually started going there presenting female and again no issue. They did call me my birth name a few times tho, that was uncomfortable, but we talked about that at my last visit and they said that they wouldn't anymore.
Staff there is nice and friendly and she is easy to communicate with and get a hold of as well. Can get appointments pretty easy too. So ya, I'd recommend her if nearby her office.
I have had a lot of issues with therapists...I have gone to a couple and didn't think too highly of any of em. Finally got one to write me hrt letter after a super long struggle. Only good thing I can think of about him really is that he is free of charge, for me at least. Definitely cannot recommend him...
