Seen a therapist for the frist time saturday

Well I went and seen the therapist. And it was great I was pleased with what was said and the out come. me and my wife go back on the 9th. My therapist also recommended HRT gave me a list of doctors that do HRT as well. she wants to see me a couple more times, also she has no problem getting me on HRT, I guess it was my childhood of wanting to do shelf mutilation, and how it is affecting my life now, so it was a positive step into a new bigger world I would say. well I am back off to work again its been a real busy past week and this week too.

Congratulations. Big first step. I was scared at most steps but it sounds like you just sailed through.

yeah I guess I did I told my oldest daughter she will soon be 16 next month, and to my surprise she was the most at comfortable with the whole thing and at the end of it she had a bunch of question and asked a lot. then she asked how far will I go I said I don't know, her reply was it don't matter it want change the way I feel about you. which she is not my bio daughter I raised her since she was 1, she will say I am her dad, but it was cool to get her approval I guess you call it.

My first day at my therapist I went in male mode because I wasn't too sure. At the end of that session my therapist told me she wants to see me as Jessika from that point on. Made me feel great. Havn't been to her since in male mode..evah! hehe 

Took her 8 months before she wrote me a letter so I could start Hormones. When I look at that it shows me she wanted to make sure I was making the right decisions ect., which I respect.

On hormones thru VA which is great. I hope they cover SRS by the time it comes around for me.

that's great for you, I took a female therapist due to I don't feel very comfortable around males I feel really out of place to the point I need to get away.
