Hello All

I've been lurking on the site for a while now and finally decided to jump in! I'm a FTM in my mid-20s and have been on T injections for just over 5 months now. I've legally changed my name and gender and am scheduled for top surgery October 15th of this year. I am out to my very supportive spouse.. and family and co-workers. Well my co-workers are actually awful about it but that's a whole nother story. Despite the support however I deal with crippling dysphoria that many days makes it hard to get out of bed, but I continued on with my therapist so we're crossing those waters.. Anywho don't wanna take up everyone's today with an essay. Glad to me you. Despite never logging in before, this site has always been my go to when I had questions and everyone just seems so friendly it seemed stupid not to reach out.

Welcome to Susan's Place. The transition isn't easy but you are making progress so I think soon you will start feeling better about yourself. Because the people here are from all over the sexual spectrum, it pay to be friendly because you learn about other life styles and it help you define what you are. When I was in group, we were a transsexual only group. We talked about other life style options but we never had any exposure to them. Here we can talk to them and we learn as much about them as they learn about us. As for me, I am here because I like helping people out.
